Who am I ?

I am a homebirthing mama, horse girl, and seasoned esthetician. My professional journey has always been about providing support and care to women in all walks of life. While my chapter in skin care has come to a close, my desire and drive to serve women in my community remains. While pregnant with my second child I came to realize just how many women didn’t feel seen or heard during their birthing and breastfeeding experiences. I knew I wanted to be part of this solution to this fragmented maternal support system. So, at 34 weeks pregnant I flew from Seattle to Los Angeles to attend a certification workshop that would enable me to teach Hypnobirthing®, a philosophy that helped me achieve two beautiful unmedicated births. Upon my return I decided that I would begin the transition from the skin care industry to the birth work world.

I received my undergraduate degree from Penn State where I majored in biobehavioral health. This interdisciplinary field of study uses a combination of biology, psychology, and sociology to inform us about what makes people healthy. From the microlevel of the individual, all the way up to the macro level of entire societies. It is through this multifaceted lens that I filter the pregnancy and birth experiences of families. I deeply trust in our body’s biological design and have profound respect for the way that culture can impact the philosophy of birth throughout the world.

In August of 2024 my family relocated from Washington state to sunny Austin, Texas where I initially trained as a birth doula with Birth Baby Academy. I then went on to participate in a long-term doula immersion to elevate my ability to serve women and their families. This container expanded my understanding of the role of somatic work within the birth space as well deepening my knowledge in providing trauma-informed care. A healthy, well-functioning nervous system is key to unlocking birth as a ceremony and sacred rite of passage. It brings me great joy to help families discover their power through individualized relational care. I am excited to be of service to my community by educating and supporting with love, integrity, and gratitude.
