Who am I ?
I am a homebirthing mama, horse girl, and seasoned esthetician. My professional journey has always been about providing support and care to women in all walks of life. While my chapter in skin care has come to a close, my desire and drive to serve women in my community remains. While pregnant with my second child, shown in this picture, I came to realize just how many women didn’t feel seen or heard during their birthing and breastfeeding experiences. I knew I wanted to be part of this solution to this fragmented maternal support system. So, at 34 weeks pregnant I flew from Seattle to Los Angeles to attend a certification workshop that would enable me to teach Hypnobirthing®, a philosophy that helped me achieve two beautiful unmedicated births. Upon my return I decided that I would begin the transition from the skin care industry to the birthing industry. I took up classes at my local community college during my maternity leave and began the journey to becoming a board-certified lactation consultant. While this step is still in process (getting a degree while raising kids has taken me a while), I will be graduating from Penn State in spring of 2026 and look forward to immersing myself in the IBCLC curriculum. In August of 2024 my family relocated from Washington state to sunny Austin, Texas. I trained as a birth doula with Birth Baby Academy soon after my arrival and decided there was no better time than the present to launch this new dream. So here I am, passionate, thriving, and looking forward to serving my community by educating and supporting with love and integrity.
